“The Intouchables”.

A true story of two men who should never have met--a quadriplegic aristocrat who was injured in a paragliding accident and a young man from the projects.

Eye Candy

This movie is about Philippe (played by François Cluzet) and Driss (played by the amazingly handsome Omar Sy).  Philippe is paraplegic and is searching for someone, who takes care of him.  Driss is unemployed, but he isn’t searching for a job, he just has to get some signatures, which allow him to get unemployment benefit. Here the main characters meet each other and although Driss doesn’t want the job, Philippe hires him.

An irreverent, uplifting comedy about friendship, trust and human possibility

Driss (Omar Sy) is an African immigrant with a messy personal life, who's just been released from a prison sentence for robbery.

While not a great movie, The Intouchables is a touching and sometimes funny experience. Philippe and Driss are good company for two hours, even if their story feels as though it's already been ''Hollywooded'' up somewhat.
