Seared King Prawns, with Goats Cheese, Tortellini , Burnt Butter, Pine Nuts and Raisins The best tortellini I have ever had in my life, I want to be able to make it just like that, 4 big prawns peeled. Goat’s cheese tortellini is amazing, plump soft and warm. I definitely want to try burnt butter on my pasta with pine nuts and raisins all four of them.

Singleton Whisky Prune, Crème Brulee

I had this & was in heaven: Passionfruit Pavlova
Over all the food was wonderful!! Faultless, the service great, noise level was O.K where we were siting to the side; noisier in the centre, could have had tablecloths for the price. But really I just want to go back and have it all again.
Too dark to see any architectural attributes or showcaseing design elements, disappointing décor they did nothing, it could have been spectacular & interesting; or my eyesight maybe going, but I could see the food looked  & tasted sublime.

This is day time & there is more light;
 much darker at night.

Yoga class seem to be much larger in India

Yoga classes seem to be much larger in India, than Neutral Bay, I wonder how or if they are ever adjusted or corrected or even seen.
Would any one know if you were doing right or wrong?

There could be over a thousand students here.

Terry Pratchett: Choosing To Die

I have just watched most of "Terry Pratchett: Choosing To Die" that was shown on SBS Sunday 23 September 2012.  It was rated 'Show of the Week' and I read the critique but for some reason decided I didn't want to watch it.  I was speaking to Suzie after yoga today and she said how good and well done it was, and although a challenging subject, it was so good, I googled it and watched it.

It is utterly captivating, compelling.  Regardless of whether you agree with the actions taken, these are some of the bravest people you'll ever see.  You witness a man taking his life in a very peaceful, and conscious way.  A wife sits by her husband as he willingly takes poison and dies before her eyes.  I am gobsmacked.  I hate hearing that word, but it is appropriate here.  The documentary was so very powerful, it left me speechless.  I can't get my head around it.   Although I feel people should be allowed to decide for themselves about euthanasia: witnessing it is altogether something else.

Full name: Terence David John Pratchett. Add a ‘Sir’ onto the front there as well, thanks to an OBE. Born in 28th April 1948. Frequently works in the comical fantasy genre, and is most famous for his long-running series, Discworld.   Awarded an OBE in 1998 and knighted in 2009. In December 2007, Pratchett announced that he was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease at an early stage, and donated heavily to charities based around that disease.

Enlightenment for the dear Animals

108 Yaks - Australian Premiere

This new documentary, “108 Yaks: a Journey of Love and Freedom”, will have its Australian premiere at Vajrayana Institute in Sydney on Saturday, 18th August. It will be preceded by a short slide show and update about Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Animal Liberation Sanctuary in Nepal, by the project coordinators Tania Duratovic and Phil Hunt.

"My whole point of doing this animal liberation is to dedicate for Rinpoche and the gurus’ long lives. But also it is to promote animal liberation, to tell people what animal liberation is and how it should be done..."
Non-Profit Organisation  Enlightenment for the Dear Animals is a project aimed at helping people to benefit animals. As fellow sentient beings, animals are not just creatures to whom we should do no harm, they are beings who also have the potential for Enlightenment.

Rinpoche on live animal exports & being vegetarian

Recently Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Spiritual Director of the FPMT, has called on his students to become vegetarian or eat less meat to help reduce the suffering to animals, including cattle involved in the live export industry (follow this link to read his full account). Every year Australia exports around 4 million live sheep to the Middle East and over half a million cattle to South East Asia. Not only do these sentient creatures suffer on the long journeys on overcrowded ships with many not surviving the trip, but their treatment at their destination is appalling.

Most of the countries these animals are exported to do not have a single law protecting their welfare. As such, most sheep and cattle have their throats cut whilst fully conscious and suffer extended, distressing and painful deaths whilst waiting animals watch in terror.

Enlightenment for the Dear Animals is a project aimed at helping people to benefit animals. As fellow sentient beings, animals are not just creatures to whom we should do no harm, they are beings who also have the potential for Enlightenment.

Animal Blessing Ceremony

http://www.buddhahouse.org/What-s-On/animal-blessing-ceremony.html#year=2012&month=9&day=17&view=month

Even though our animal friends cannot practice the Dharma, we can benefit them by exposing them to the Dharma, to create imprints in their minds so that they may connect with the teachings of the Buddha in the future. In this ceremony, the FPMT “Animal Liberation” practice, which includes many mantras and prayers, will be recited.

The animals will receive blessings from blessed water, and prayers will be said for their good rebirths and the benefit of all beings.

The practice of blessing animals is explained by Lama Zopa Rinpoche:

"The purpose of this is to bring peace to the animals and to make their lives meaningful, so that sooner or later they can be fully awakened and achieve highest happiness. By doing prayers and chanting powerful mantras for them, they receive a higher rebirth and liberation. This practice purifies immediately the oceans of samsaric suffering. Especially for beings born in the animal realm, it definitely helps."

There are enormous benefits generated from supporting animal liberations and prayers for long life. The recipients of benefit are: the creatures being saved, blessed and released during the liberations; those who support the animal liberation practice; and those to whom the animal liberations are dedicated. Lama Zopa Rinpoche explains:
“By doing prayers and chanting powerful mantras for the animals, they receive a higher rebirth and liberation. This practice purifies immediately the oceans of samsaric suffering.”
“For the person who liberates animals, or whoever wants to dedicate the merit to those with life obstacles, this practice helps them to obtain long life. Even if you don’t expect it, the karma will cause you to have a long life."

Screen Recorder is used to record the entire sequence of actions that have been taken on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Screen. This is very similar to the desktop style screencaster.
Be talking on the Note 2 and write down details at the same time.

Easy Clip enables the users to outline and crop the content on their device screen via the S pen and any shape can be used. The content could be then saved, pasted anywhere or shared as well.

Air View
Hover with the "S"pen over all the information contained in such e-mails, and images etc. without opening them actually.

Inspired by the idea of a Popup Play, the Pop-up Note feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would allow the users to open any S note on the device screen anywhere in the form of a pop-up window.
Something on your mind, and you don’t know how to visualize your idea, all you have to do is just typing some keywords related to your idea, and the illustration images corresponding to your typed keywords appear on the screen instantly.

Emirates brings WiFi to international A380 flights from Australia

 11:56 am 11/09/2012
One airline with flights from Australia is looking to make things a little easier, though, adding WiFi connectivity to international flights from October.   Emirates is launching a new service, running from Melbourne to Auckland and Dubai from October 2, and the aircraft that will take you there – one of the massive A380s – has been authorised to support WiFi within Australian airspace.

Apple iPhone ?

Apple has sent out invitations for a press conference on September 12th;  a note that reads “It’s almost here.” and a big 12 marking the date, but reflecting the shadow of a 5. The latter seems to indicate that the new iPhone will be called the iPhone 5 after all, even though this would actually be the sixth iteration of Apple’s smartphone since the device was launched in 2007.  Whether that’s an accurate interpretation remains to be seen.

Darling Harbour Exhibition

I just love this photo nothing to do with Darling Harbour or Cruising

Carolyn very kindly  picked me up and drove me to Darling Harbor this morning to see the Cruising Exhibition.  I thought it would be more unusual types of cursing.  Really it was a huge clearing warehouse of brochures, far too general to be interesting or of use for me and too crowded to function.  I meet Barbara from Lindsay Street and Judi & her husband.  Maybe I need to visit a travel exhibition.

A not so good cruise.
